About...
The owner
Aaron Gauger created
Gauger Photography in 2006 in an effort to take his passion
and transform it into a career. Interest in photography began
for him in childhood while learning darkroom techniques in
grade school. Today, Aaron shoots digital exclusively, which
allows for more creativity and greater risk-taking by employing
new and innovative techniques. Digital photography and state of
the art equipment give Aaron more creative and technical control
of his work, allowing him to get it just right!
Aaron focuses on traditional and contemporary family photography.
From newborns, to high school seniors, to family portraits,
he captures the essence of life and family through creative imagery.
His two beautifully vibrant
daughters creatively inspire Aaron. By living every day to its
fullest, always trying to improve on the day before, and never
letting a day go by without learning something new, Aaron
strongly believes that...
"Life
is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away."

Owning your photos
Most studios retain the rights to your photos
in order to require you to order future prints from them
exclusively. We believe that pictures of you and your family
should belong to you, period. Our print prices are competitive
and we have a working relationship with one of the best print
labs around. They are internationally recognized in the
photography industry and are the lab of choice for many
high-end portrait and wedding studios worldwide.
We’ve chosen to work with this lab because we were frustrated
with the lack of consistency in color and brightness from some
of the local print venders. Using extensive color profiling
techniques, we are able to match the color parameters through
the entire photographic process. From the camera, to the edit
process and retouching, and on to print, proper color profiling
is the key to more life-like prints with deep shadows, bright
highlights, rich, natural color, and unmatched sharpness.
Because you have complete rights to all your photos you can
get reprints anywhere, but please keep this in mind.
Your satisfaction
If you are not happy with your photos, we have not done our
job. By carefully listening to you before, during, and after your photo
shoot, we are certain to meet or exceed your expectations.
